News : Due to demand, we are making an additional 100 places available for the 14km PUMA Derwentwater Trail Race & Challenge taking place in Keswick on 5th September, as the initial entry limit was reached on 04/07/10 - please enter now to guarantee your place. Also due to demand, we are making an additional 100 places for final event of the PUMA Lakeland Trails series, the 15km PUMA Coniston Trail Race & Challenge taking place on 2nd October, as the initial entry limit was reached on 19/07/10 - Please enter soon to guarantee your place, as currently there are 87 places available (as of 27/07/10)
There is a PUMA Challenge setting off first for faster walkers, nordic walkers and less competitive runners, then the competitive PUMA Trail Race sets off an hour or more afterwards, both events following the same stunning, scenic course.
An exciting and fun atmosphere is guaranteed for spectators and competitors alike. Live music with a race commentary and other entertainments all make for a great day out for all the family.
Children's Fun Trails take place when most of the competitors are back from the Trail. These short fun runs for children under 12 are all about having a go. Finishers are rewarded with a specially engraved medal, and there are spot prizes too.
