The trail courses are well marked and marshalled journeys along environmentally sustainable bridleways and footpaths through some of the most scenic and beautiful countryside in Britain.

Series results are now available for both men and women after the second Puma Lakeland Trails event, the Garburn Trail Race & Challenge at Staveley
There is a PUMA Challenge setting off first for faster walkers, nordic walkers and less competitive runners, then the competitive PUMA Trail Race sets off an hour or more afterwards, all three events following the same course.
An exciting and fun atmosphere is guaranteed for spectators and competitors alike. Live music with a race commentary and other entertainments all make for a great day out for all the family.
Children's Fun Trails take place when most of the competitors are back from the Trail. These short fun runs for children under 12 are all about having a go. Finishers are rewarded with a specially engraved medal, and there are spot prizes too.
