Event Manager
Entering its 21st year, Lakeland Trails delivers high quality, inclusive trail running events throughout the Lake District National Park. We are working hard to improve our sustainability and raise awareness of the climate crisis to our audience, as well as look for new opportunities.
Working closely with and alongside our Event Director and other key crew members, you will be responsible for ensuring all of the boxes are ticked so that the events take place safely and meet the high expectations our runners and locals have come to expect.
We are a small, friendly team and are looking for an enthusiastic, organised person to take on this key role. The successful candidate will be able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders; have excellent attention to detail and time management skills; have a positive outlook; and be able to proactively deal with any challenges that come their way to ensure a high standard of event delivery.
This is a permanent role with year-round hours. During the event season, this will involve approx. 4-5 days' work per week and 2-3 days' out of season. We are very flexible with our working hours and there is a generous amount of free time.
Whilst experience in a similar role is preferable, full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
