The Lakeland Trails running and walking series actively involves the local community and charitable groups. The majority of marshals on the course are provided by organisations the Lakeland Trails support financially, such as: Coniston Mountain Rescue, Kendal Mountain Rescue, Keswick Mountain Rescue, Patterdale Mountain Rescue and Allithwaite Pump Track Committee.
However, there are opportunities for you to get involved at each of the Lakeland Trails events as a volunteer. We have positions available for all sorts of simple, yet important roles, from marshalling and stewarding duties, water stations, giving out T shirts, to helping with registration.
Each volunteer receives free entry into one of our Lakeland Trails events for you or a friend, as well as a race memento from the day. So, whether you're injured, having a break, coming along with another competitor, or just fancy helping out and having some fun with our friendly team we'd love to hear from you.
Send our Volunteers Co-ordinator, Gail Cass an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll be in touch shortly!
