There are still a few camping sites available at Hawkshead Hall Campsite adjacent to the Showground. Last year's event was featured by BBC Cumbria with interviews and photos. "Superb day! I am a complete novice at this trail running lark, but was so inspired I came home and entered the next three races! As a beginner, I really appreciated being able to enter the Challenge race and know I could go at my own slow steady pace and walk up the steep bits. Batala Liverpool will parade competitors from the village square to the start line. The band were a huge success last year in Hawkshead, and also played live with the Sugababes and at the opening ceremony for the Charity Shield at Wembley Arena
