inov-8 - Main Partner for the Lakeland Trails
FOUNDED IN 2003, INOV-8 IS ONE OF THE WORLD’S LEADING ALL TERRAIN FOOTWEAR, APPAREL AND EQUIPMENT BRANDS.
Operating in over 60 countries, we pride ourselves in designing high quality, innovative products in both the running and performance training sectors.
Our origins and footprints remain firmly etched into the muddy British fells and trails but over the years we have optimised our products to meet the needs of the many terrains we have travelled.
From the mountain summits of the Alps and Rockies to the desert wilderness of the Sahara and Antarctica, our adventures have led us to one single truth:
The athletes’ interaction with the environment is the single most important factor when designing products.
With this sharply in mind and driven by a desire to deliver athlete-centric innovation, our range architecture caters for all terrains.
Those who use our products seek fearlessness, adventure and to discover their edge. Now under the ownership of Descente – a Japanese sportswear maker with an 80-year history of craftsmanship and excellence – and with inov-8 founder Wayne Edy still at the heart of product innovation, our future is packed with exciting possibilities.

We hope you’ll have such a great time taking part in our events that you’ll feel inspired to give a little something back to help look after the spectacular landscape, to keep it special today, tomorrow and right into the future. Thanks you so much for your support.
Fix The Fells - Charity Partner of the Lakeland Trails™. Over 10 million feet tread our upland fell paths every year, which adds up to a lot of wear and tear. Fix the Fells is a partnership programme between, the Lake District National Park, National Trust, Natural England, Friends of the Lake District, Cumbria County Council and Nurture Lakeland to repair and maintain eroded paths in the Lake District. A small number of skilled craftsmen and hundreds of volunteers carry out this essential repair work. As well as practical repairs by expert footpath workers, the programme also focuses on pre-emptive maintenance work, volunteering, community education and engagement. The paths will always be walked and the rain will always fall! So it is vital that work to prevent further erosion and damage to this outstanding area carries on to keep the fells fighting fit for us all to enjoy, today, tomorrow and right into the future.
