There are now THREE options to choose from, depending on how competitive you are. A brand new 10km Hawkshead Trail Run sets off at 11.00am for those new to off road running. For the adventurous, there's the 17km Hawkshead Trail Race with a time limit of just 2 3/4 hours - with runnable sections passing through breathtaking scenery, yet the course also has the steep "Coffin Trail", and will test even the fittest. For the less competitive and those new to off-road trail running, the 17km Hawkshead Trail Challenge is the one for you, as you have an hour's start on the serious guys, but follows exactly the same stunning course.

The time limit is 2.45 hours for the race and to enter you must be 18 or over.
17km Hawkshead Trail Challenge - Limit 500. (Start 13.00) An event for less competitive runners, faster walkers and nordic walkers. If you want to take it easy and enjoy the views, this is the one for you. A specially designed, quality event event Lakeland Trails memento for all finishers, and spot prizes too. There is a time limit of 3.45 hours for the Challenge and to enter you must be 18 or over.NEW! 10km Hawkshead Trail Run - Limit 500 (start 11.00am) A shorter distance event for everyone, on a well marked and marshalled course, with graded runnable climbs and descents for those with off road running experience. Hawkshead Fun Trails (Start 12.30) Fun runs over short laps for all abilities of children under 12 within the finishing arena, where taking part is what matters most. Specially engraved medals to all the finishers and spot prizes too. No entry limit for children - they enter on the day !
