There are events on the day for all ages and abilities, from faster walkers to international standard athletes. The PUMA Derwentwater Trail Race and PUMA Derwentwater Challenge all follow the same 14km course. Tthe children's Derwentwater Fun Trails take place at the finish and set off when most people have finished the Derwentwater Trail.

PUMA Derwentwater Trail Race 14km - Limit 600 (start 14.00) For the more serious runner, a well marked and marshalled course with fast, graded runnable climbs and descents for those with off road running experience. Great prizes for the winners, electronic chip timing, a specially designed, Lakeland Trails technical T shirt worth £20.00 to all finishers, and spot prizes too ! The time limit is 2 hours for the race and to enter you must be 16 or over.

If you want to take it easy and enjoy the views, this is the one for you. A specially designed, Lakeland Trails technical T shirt worth £20.00 for all finishers, and spot prizes too. There is a time limit of 3 hours for the Challenge and to enter you must be 16 or over.
Derwentwater Fun Trails (start 16.30) Fun runs for all abilities of children under 12. Short laps for under 12's, where having a go is the most important thing. Specially engraved medals to all the finishers and spot prizes too. No entry limit for children - they enter on the day too !
