Early Bird entry for the 2010 Lakeland Trails series is now available.

Photographs on the course taken by professional photographers Pete Hartley and James Kirby are now available. Results for the 2009 Puma Coniston Trail Race & Challenge are listed below. There are so many people to thank for helping this event to go ahead despite the gales which were gusting up to 80 mph throughout the day. First to Dave Coxon and his team from Coniston Mountain Rescue for all their help, advice and positivity throughout the day. Their local knowledge and thorough marshal cover ensured everyone's safety. Next to Liz Hill, caretaker at John Ruskin School, for all the last minute compromises and changes to plans we had already made, for working so hard from early morning until late into the night - what a star. To all the set up crew, marshals, stewards and event staff for taking up the challenge of the elements and coming up with solutions and thinking on their feet. To Event Manager Helen Lamb for running the event so smoothly under difficult circumstances. To Cumbria Police for helping with road safety and rolling road closures, along with the road crossing at Torver and finally to the National Trust, LDNPA and all the landowners for giving permission for the event to go ahead and to our sponsors PUMA, Bridgedale and AyUp Lighting Systems.
